Even though this has been a bit of a trying week for me, it's important for me to look and find the positive things. It has kept me from falling apart and giving in to my sadness and frustration this week. If you want to join in on Thankful Thursday, hop on over to Truth 4 The Journey and meet Sonya who has been hosting it for quite some time and meet some new friends in the process.
Kat, thank you for everything. You always brighten my day. And I've been thinking of you because I've had OB-GYN issues, but nothing as intense as yours. I know that God will give you His strength at this time...and maybe give a nudge to the people at the insurance company :)
Oh Kat! you are so very precious to me but MORE than that to OUR Father ~ You are the Apple of HIS EYE and HE hurts that you are hurting! I know that HE has a plan and I pray that your pain, frustration, fears, are washed away by HIS Amazing Grace and His Peace will pass all understanding as HIS HEaling virtues flow and the Wisdom and answers are revealed!
I love you so very much, although I am so far away I am right by your side because there is NO ABSENCE in Prayer and I am praying at ALL TIMES for you my precious friend
First I have to tell you that the way you posted these is so cute! I've found that when life isn't going how we like it, it can be amazing to see how many places we can see God at work, like getting you into a specialist in one day! I'm glad you are able to be thankful in the middle of trials.
It is amazing that God can make someone to be able to see the things that they are grateful for in the midst of such hard things in life. Still praying for you! Love, Christy
Oh, Kat! I haven't been in the blogging world much lately and just read your last few posts. I'm so sorry to hear about the pain you've been in! It sounds excruciating. I've been frustrated for the past few years because my "curse" has gotten longer and heavier. And I've told my hubby it will probably get worse before it goes away permanently! Being over 40 can stink sometimes!
One of my friends had that procedure you mentioned. I think as a result of it your periods should become very light or non-existant afterward. If you want, I can find out if she is glad that she did it and if there were any weird side effects or anything. I can't believe that nobody seems to be in a big rush to help you considering the amount of pain you seem to be in. How safe is it for you to continue the pain meds for an extended period of time? That worries me.
Kat, neat thankful notes! I always enjoy coming to your blog. Just your picture alone, shows someone who has a genuine heart. Blessings to you dear one.
Hi Kat, The post it notes make reading your thankful thursdays a delight... easy to read, brief, concise, direct to the point, yet loaded with love and appreciation.
Being thankful in the midst of your pain... what a God-honoring response!
Will continue to pray for you. Be sure to drink a lot of water. What I know is that pain medications taken over an extended period of time is not also good for your liver and kidney... I pray for how God will help you find the right doctor, as well as supernatural healing.
Father, I come to You, confessing my sin and asking for Your forgiveness. I thank you, Lord, for You have promised that if I will confess my sins, You will be faithful to forgive me and cleanse me from all unrighteousness. I want to turn from my sins and live in Your will. I ask that You give me the power through Your Holy Spirit to live the right way.
I thank You that Jesus Christ died on the cross, paying the price for my sins, and then rose from the dead. I accept Him now as my Savior, my Lord, and my Friend. Thank You for giving me new life in Christ. I surrender myself to You; make me what You want me to be. In Jesus' name. Amen!
This is my online ministry that God is using to bring about encouragement, hope and love to a hurting and dark world. I am hoping that all of you that find your way here will take something away that will add some meaning to your life! I personally feel it's a calling I have from God at this time in my life to reach out to people that are hurting and offer them hope in a dark world or at least give them a smile and laughter back! I am sold out, body, mind, spirit and soul to Jesus Christ! This blog is dedicated to God, The Great I AM, Alpha and Omega, Jesus Christ, my Savior!
