Kat's Newest Addition and Giveaways!

With so much going on this week, I wonder, just where do I fit it all in. I have so much to share with you. I'm still in recovery mode this week and I have Steve here for one more day. He is back to work on Monday. Some days are still challenging but it's better than where I started. Praise God! Let's start with pictures because I know how much you all hate long posts with lots of words.

I received this wonderful package in the mail from a giveaway I won with Lisa Shaw at Sharing Life with Lisa. I was so blessed with the "Faith" plaque because my faith has gone through some trials and has emerged with so much more than I could have ever imagined. She also sent me a beautiful card full of so much love and some refrigerator magnets that I have added to my refrigerator. Now every time I see them I think of Lisa!

Now you all know this last week, I fried my laptop of 7 years. It's not nothing but a holder of information and can see but nothing more. It has no sound and nothing can be uploaded or plugged into anymore. It's my deaf member of my home now.

Not even the Geek Squad could fix this. All of this from uploading pictures from my camera to my computer. Nice huh?

So we have a new member added to our household.

Yup that's right, if I have a cat named Moo, I can have a computer that looks like one too!

Isn't he beautiful? So I am going to have a giveaway for what to name my computer! Leave me a comment and on Tuesday, April 27th, I'll announce the winner with some very special handpicked surprises in store for you. You have to be a faithful follower of course, cause you know how much I love giving stuff away! Tis better to give than receive right?

In the meantime, I'm back to visiting you all again. I hope you missed me as much as I have missed you too! Thanks for those of you that keep stopping by and leaving me comments. I promise to start visiting again. Here was my view today? Did I mention that God woke me for a special surprise this morning at midnight? SNOW! Yup just some traces remained this morning but He blessed me with seeing it last night.

Yes! It's even starting to rain here and if you know me at all, I love the rain!

In the very near future I've been able to convince some of the publishers to offer more giveaways on their titles. I mean who doesn't love free stuff right? So keep commenting and I promise to offer lots of good stuff in the future.

I may even hold giveaways for my faithful commenters. Hmmm! I sense a possible giveaway in the future for the most comments in a month? Perhaps that could be one for May??

Don't forget leave me an idea for the name for my new computer and you'll be entered in a giveaway special! Don't forget to make sure you've entered in the giveaways that end this weekend by clicking on any of them to the right on my sidebar. Leave a comment and you're in!

I can't believe you got snow! My husband told me that was a rare thing but that it does get cold in the desert area in CA.

I like your new computer. I love you.

As you know I have been out of town, and have not visited as much as i would like. Sorry things just seem to keep popping up to cause you pain. I am not too creative in my thinking, but maybe you would consider "Faithful" for your computer and trust it will be.

Hurray you have a new computer and are back in action.
I suggest "Bliss" for its name.
How fun to have a giveaway.

Wow, it's cool that you think of snow as a blessing. Trust me, if you lived in Wisconsin, you'd think of it as something much different.

And speaking of Wisconsin, since your new computer has a cow print, what better name than a good old-fashioned cow name? BESSIE

I was in CA yesterday when it dropped in temps and this morning it really rained hard. My plane was still on time though and when I arrived back home this afternoon it was in the 40's in AZ! We might get snow tonight! Weird.

Hope you enjoy that computer for lots of years! I think Bessie or Dolly are both cow names that could work for a computer. I'll be interested to see what you come up with!

You had a laptop for 7 years? Holy Cow! (hehe) That's a long time for a laptop.

I like the name Lucy the Laptop.

I wanted to stop by to see how you are feeling after your recent surgery. I was so glad to see you'd won a Lisa Shaw giveaway. Isn't she the best? I love her like a sister. I'm sure she showered you with lots of love in her card too.

It's amazing how dependent we become on our computers as bloggers. Not only photos but so many friendships are online with blogging buddies. Hmm ... a name for your computer?

I say Kat's "Heart Throb" since yo pour your heart and soul into your blogging and the relationships you form with all of us.

I pray that you are feeling stronger each day.

Hugs,
Debbie

I'm sorry to hear that your computer died. But Yeah, on the new one.

I'd name it "IV" pronounced Ivy. Because it's a direct line to the outside world?

Or PAL for Lap spelled backwards! LOL!
I don't know. Hee! Hee!
Love you my friend. I pray you do well as your husband goes back to work.
HUGS!
Kim

I think the computers name should be Percy for perseverance! You have certainly persevered lately! I am going to call it Percy whether you choose it or not....lol!!

How about naming your computer lovey, because it is where you write your love letters to God.

Congrats on the beautiful prize. Love the sign!!!

Also congrats on the new computer.
Just to be different, how about "Roxie." I have a Ruby.

So glad you are on the mend.

What a nice gift you received.
The clouds have really been something this week. Nice shot!
So I am going to say Betsy or Robert. Betsy because that name comes to mind for a female cow.
Robert because for all the years I knew my grandpa Robert he always said that when he dies he wants to come back as a cow because they have a good life. Of course he would not have been milk cow. We grew up seeing cows in Michigan, Illinois and Wisconsin out on the range that way a cow should live.

There is something about a new computer...fresh and all the possibilities that lay in store for you when you open it up. Its like the world is at the tips of your finger tips...you could call her "Addie" short for adventure. Sorry that is all I got at 10 at night. :-)

Since it looks like a "cow" I think you should call it "Moosic" for it is music to your ears to hear it come up after being down! Have a great weekend!

Humm . . . how about Gracie? God's Grace is why we blog, right? If it was not for HIS Grace where would we be? I think Gracie would be a great name for your new computer. Glad you enjoyed the snow . . . again my friend another blessing. I love the rain too. May the Lord continue to bless and heal you.
In HIS Hands,
Bren

Yes, you have been missed! So glad things are getting better.

Congratulations on your new computer! I'm thinking he sort of looks like a George. Gateway George. George Gateway. Yes, George.

Hello, Kat. I love your new computer. We used to have a cow named Betsy. Maybe that would be a good name for your new family member. ;) Congrats on the rain, and even the snow. Hope you're back to full speed soon.

Oh sweet Kat,
A new computer makes you feel like you just got a new pair of shoes and your hair done all in one day!! Love that!!! =)

Ummm let's see, I'm thinking since you call it a "he" and all that you might name it Manly. Do you remember that from Little House on the Prairie? Oh how I loved that show. They don't make TV like that anymore.

anyway....

Love you friend,
Dawn

I'm rubbish at making names up. I love some of the ideas that other commenters named: I love IV and Lovey or Andrea's name "Percy". My lame idea is KAS for Kat & Steve.

Hugs to you my friend,
Carol

Like your new computer Kat !
I would name it either " Link " or " Sparkle ".
Link because it is your link to your blogging friends or sparkle because you have such a sweet sparkling personality !
Hugs and love to you dear friend .
