Asking For Trouble?

As you can see by the wonderful trailer this new exciting book series is geared towards young teens and preteens. The book Asking For Trouble by Sandra Bryd, is the first book in the London Confidential series, and was amazing and held my attention from the first page. You get completely immersed in the life of 15-year old Savvy Smith, as she likes to be called by her friends. You learn what the struggles of fitting in are like for someone who has not only changing schools but changed countries as well. You even learn how she fits her faith in God into helping her get through what for most is the toughest time fitting in at high school!

I had the opportunity to have my 11 year old daughter read it as well and she loved it! She said the best part is how Savvy tries to make friends at school living in London. She can’t wait to have me pick up the next book in the series.

I had the opportunity to receive a complimentary copy of this book to review for Tyndale House Publishers and give it my parental thumbs up. A great book to get any of your teens started in their summer reading program or perhaps for someone who can relate to the story of Savvy Smith as someone who has moved to a new school.

It sounds like a great book. Is it geared toward girls and boys or just girls?

I think it's so neat that you get to review books and share them with the rest of us. The best part is that your daughter is just as interested in them as you. I wish I would have appreciated books more when I was her age.

This looks like another great book! Don't sign me up though, because my kids are too old for it. Someone will really like it!
