This Is the Second Coming of Jesus Christ, Not the Rapture of the Church!

Our God, the One we, as believers in Christ know, is NOT tolerant, as the world would try and have you believe He is. It is false doctrine for believers to tolerate everything. Jesus didn't tolerate everything. Do you know the real definition of the word tolerant or tolerance? Or are you buying into the new re-defined meaning of tolerance?  It has nothing to do with the definition given by Noah Webster in 1828's dictionary of the American Language of Colonial America.

Tolerance is to put up with the differences of others respectfully.

It doesn't mean to change their minds. It doesn't mean to make them thing what you think. It doesn't mean you beat them into submission, mock them, ridicule them or label them until they surrender, give up or think like you think. That is not the meaning of tolerance, but it is what it means today. You either think like me or you're intolerant.

Tolerance is respecting someone who has a different viewpoint than you do.

Jesus doesn't tolerate sinful behavior. We should thank God for that! It is the very reason, He went to the cross. To destroy sin. Our God is NOT tolerant, as the world would lead you to believe.

Revelation 19:11-21 ~ "Then I saw heaven opened, and behold, a white horse! The one sitting on it is called Faithful and True, and in righteousness he judges and makes war. His eyes are like a flame of fire, and on his head are many diadems, and he has a name written that no one knows but himself. He is clothed in a robe dipped in blood, and the name by which he is called is The Word of God. And the armies of heaven, arrayed in fine white line, white and pure, were following him on white horses. From his mouth comes a sharp sword with which to strike down the nations and he will rule them with a rod of iron. He will tread the winepress of the fury of the wrath of God the Almighty. On his robe and on his thigh he has a name written, King of kings and Lord of lords.

"Then I saw an angel standing in the sun, and with a loud voice he called to all the birds that fly directly overhead, "Come, gather for the great supper of God, to eat the flesh of kings, the flesh of captains, the flesh of mighty men, the flesh of horses and their riders, and the flesh of all men, both free and slave, both small and great. And I saw the beast, and the kings of the earth with their armies gathered to make war against him who was sitting on the horse and against his army. And the beast was captured, and with it the false prophet who in its presence had done signs by which he deceived those who had received the mark of the beast and those who worshiped its image. These two were thrown alive into the lake of fire that burns with sulfur. And the rest were slain by the sword that came from the mouth of him who was sitting on the horse and all the birds were gorged with their flesh."

What a gruesome scene! But it is very exciting for the believer of Christ. For the believer, we have nothing to fear, it doesn't pertain to us. Our role in this is most exciting. If you fear reading this, you might be on the wrong side. We will be returning with Christ on white horses. It might sound like a fairy tale, but its 100% true prophetically and will be fulfilled literally as the Bible describes.

The best selling book of all time is the Bible. It's not even recognized by the New York Times Best Seller list because it has outsold every book that has ever been published and still continues to do so. What we are studying and reading about today is the Second Coming of Christ, not the rapture of the church! These are the events of the Second Coming of Jesus Christ. It is taught in 17 of the Old Testament books alone. Jesus Christ, Himself, spoke about more than 200 times either alluding to it or mentioning it specifically. It is found 1845 times in the Bible, 318 times in the New Testament alone. It appears in 7 out 10 chapters in the New Testament. It is a futuristic event that has not happened yet and is at least 7 years from today. You can be assured of that.

If the rapture of the church happened today, then 7 years from today, you would have the Second Coming of Jesus Christ. It could, should the rapture of the church happened today. They are two very different events. Coming up in our study we will outline the differences between the rapture of the church which is a Gentile event, and the Second Coming of Jesus Christ, which is a Jewish event. Those who struggle with the differences should have a lot of those questions answered.

Acts 1:9-11 ~ "And when he had said these things, as they were looking on, he was lifted up, and a cloud took him out of their sight. And while they were gazing into heaven as he went, behold, two men stood by them in white robes, and said, "Men of Galilee, why do you stand looking into heaven? This Jesus, who was taken up from you into heaven, will come in the same way as you saw him go into heaven."

Jesus will come again! Detailed events and explanations are given by Jesus in all 4 gospels! In the Old and New Testament alike, the event is truly awesome.

Zechariah 14:1, 4 ~ "Behold, a day is coming for the LORD, when the spoil taken from you will be divided in your midst. On that day his feet shall stand on the Mount of Olives that lies before Jerusalem on the east, and the Mount of Lives shall be split in two from the east to west by a very wide valley, so that one half of the Mount shall move northward, and the other half southward."

Jesus doesn't appear in the atmosphere calling his people up. From the Temple Mount you can see the Mount of Olives with the Kidron Valley in between, and that is the direction that Jesus will come from when He returns. He must first place His feet on the Mount before coming to the Temple. When that happens, the earth will split into two in a great earthquake and the waters will come from the Mediterranean Sea, 1282 feet like a river to the Dead Sea, and it will be revived by the life giving waters of the Mediterranean, so much in Ezekiel, the same fish will be found in both. That is not true today. In the Book of Isaiah, the deserts will bloom when Christ returns.

Joel 3:14-16 ~ "Multitudes, multitudes, in the valley of decision! For the day of the LORD is near in the valley of decision. The sun and the moon are darkened, and the stars withdraw their shining. The LORD roars from Zion, and utters his voice from Jerusalem, and the heavens and the earth quake. But the LORD is a refuge to his people, a stronghold to the people of Israel."

Zechariah 12:8-10 ~ "On that day the LORD will protect the inhabitants of Jerusalem, so that the feeblest among them on that day shall be like David, and the house of David shall be like God, like the angel of the LORD, going before them. And on that day I will seek to destroy all the nations that come against Jerusalem. And I will pour out on the house of David and the inhabitants of Jerusalem a spirit of grace and pleas for mercy so that when they look on me, on him who they have pierced, they shall mourn for him, as one mourns for an only child, and weep bitterly over him, as one weeps over a firstborn."

Don't mess with Jerusalem. This was written 1000 years before the birth of Jesus Christ.

Matthew 24:27-30 ~ "For as the lightning comes from the east and shines as far as the west, so will be the coming of the Son of Man. Wherever the corpse is, there the vultures will gather. Immediately after the tribulation of those days, the sun will be darkened, and the moon will not give its light, and the stars will fall from heaven, and the powers of the heavens will be shaken. Then will appear in heaven the signs of the Son of Man, and then all the tribes of the earth will mourn, and they will see the Son of Man coming on the clouds of heaven with power and great glory."

All these refer to the Second Coming of Jesus not the rapture of the church! The awesomeness of Jesus Christ in His place.

Revelation 19:11 ~ "Then I saw heaven opened, and behold, a white horse! The one sitting on it is called Faithful and True, and in righteousness he judges and makes war."

The last time John has said that was when he was let into heaven in the vision.

Revelation 4:1 ~ "After this I looked, and behold, a door standing open in heaven! And the first voice, which I had heard speaking to me like a trumpet, said, "Come up here, and I will show you what must take place after this."

From that point on, the church was never seen again on earth! In Revelation 4, you have the church going up. In Revelation 19, you have the church going down. How did it get there?

In between Revelation 4 and 19, is the 7-year Tribulation Period. Heaven opens, the church is raptured upward. Heaven opens again, the church returns downward. John, who is in the church, is a type of the church! The Second Coming is when Christ returns "with" the church. The Rapture is when Christ comes "for" the church.
