It seems that is the popular opinion when you ask most people around the world. Never in history, has there been such a hatred towards the label, "Christian." While many of us wear it with pride, there are those that run from it as if you had labeled them "Anti-American" or even "Radical Terrorists."
You've seen it every single time, Christians stand up for anything that contradicts what the world wants, from taking a stand on traditional marriage being between a man and woman ONLY, to defending the rights of unborn children from being aborted and companies paying for it and supporting a woman's right to do as she wishes with her body.
Oh how my heart grieves even now seeing how far we have fallen as a once great nation. One who stood for the principles of truth founded in the Bible to support our formation of the Mayflower Compact, and then subsequently our Declaration of Independence, Bill of Rights and Constitution. Where are the strong men and women of integrity that will put a stop to the crazy roller coaster ride America is riding?
Let me share these godly principles that founded this great nation but the first people who came here looking for freedom from oppression from the King James of England who wanted to censor their religious beliefs and were facing persecution. (Sound familiar?) They were not all from the same religious denominations but they all had the same core beliefs in the one true God much like the Catholics, Methodists, Baptists, Lutherans and Christians do now. This is an exact, line-by-line transcription of the Mayflower Compact. Spelling and punctuation have not been modernized.

What do you notice? What stands out about this document? Because our current president would have you believe that this great nation was not founded on any "Christian" principles. Ah, I beg to differ Mr. President. Perhaps you need to do some fact checking. The original colonists that came on the Mayflower, were ones who stood up for the Christian faith, notice the bold word christian? I didn't put it there, the Pilgrims who came here wrote that as their first document and they knew how to apply Biblical truth to civil affairs as seen in the Mayflower Compact, which was the first expression of civil government that recognized the Christian idea of man and government.
Apparently our current President needs to take a refresher course on American history that has not be rewritten or changed to what the current world view would have us believe is true history. Oh wait unless the Pilgrims didn't really come here to America or the Mayflower Compact is fake? Are you seeing my point. It's irrefutable. Here is the image of the original document.
Don't you remember being taught all about this in school when God was still part of the program? Do any of you remember morning prayer being followed by our Pledge of Allegiance? Then one summer we came back only to find it not allowed any more?
Since when did standing up for the truth make anyone a terrorist? Oh there will be those who argue that Christians killed more people in the Crusades than anyone else. Really? Want to argue facts on that? You might just want to do some fact checking before you go there. Can you tell me what the purpose of the Crusades were? The real history not the watered down version our children are being spoon-fed now in school.
The "Holy Roman Empire," founded by Otto I, King of Germany in 962 A.D., launches a series of 8 crusades to "liberate" the Holy Land from the Muslims (1095-1272). Did you see it, only 8 crusades happened during those time frames and I'm sure you're telling yourself, well the "Christians" killed a lot of Muslims during that time frame. 8 wars killed between 1 to 3 million people.
Wow, you must be thinking that is really horrible. All those innocent lives taken for the sake of God. Now let's reverse the tables and see how many lives the Muslims have claimed since Muhammad came to power in 610AD. Since the birth of Christ, there have been approximately 43 million Christians have died just for their faith, and the count is still rising. Still think the numbers lie? Oh and for the record the nation of Israel has been in existence in borders much larger than they are today as promised by God, Himself in approximately 1406BC, so honestly whose land is it really? There are those that would argue Israel was never a nation. You might want to read Exodus to find out for sure! The borders Israel has now, from the 1967 six day war, are not the ones God wanted them to have. One day God will right this wrong.
We have one group of people, Muslims, trying to rid the world of people that they believe don't have a right to exist, Jews and Christians as is stated in their own book, The Quran 9:5 "And when the forbidden months have passed, kill the idolaters wherever you find them and take them prisoners, and beleaguer them, and lie in wait for them at every place of ambush." and you have Christians standing up for the absolute truth of the Bible Jesus shared, which states in Matthew 5:44, " to love your enemies and pray for those that persecute you", and that in John 3:17, "For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but to save the world through him."
Tell me which group is the real terrorists? The ones that preach the truth of a God of Love or the ones that believe in a Holy War that necessitates the cleansing of an entire race of people simply because they are God's chosen ones?
