Thankful Thursday, September 23rd

Today is the day that according to my devotional stated that I needed to find 5 things to be grateful or thankful for and here they are:

1. I am thankful that my gallstone attacks lately are being controlled by pain meds til I can find a doctor I can trust.

2. I am thankful that my raging migraine headache is going away thanks to our Great Heavenly Physician.

3. I am thankful for the last two days of unusually cooler weather that really made the first day of fall feel like fall here in the High Desert.

4. I am thankful that my daughter's high school isn't going to drop her from her web design class due to our diligence and prayers to fight for what we believe is right.

5. I am thankful for the ability to take my family to the county fair for free tomorrow and spend time exploring and discovering all of God's goodness.

If you want to join in on Thankful Thursdays with us, join up at Greg's General Store and list your 5 for the day.

My special friend things are going to get better for you and family. You just have your plate running over all at one time. Your faith and prayers will see you through. I realize there are times that it is hard to see the light at the end of the the tunnel. You are stronger than you realize. Take care.

Hugs to you Kat, So sorry you are battling gallbladder attacks-I'll be praying that the Lord eases your pain and destroys the gallstones. Loved your list and I am so thankful for you. Heading your way this coming weekend-but will end up at the ocean. Kat, please email any specifics of how I can be upholding you.

I am thankful your migraine has eased and dreaming of the cooler temps you are experiencing. It is still a parched land here in Virginia...so unusually hot.

Blessings, hugs, and prayers,

I am thanks to have a new blogging friend in you! (Also about the weather turning a bit cool here too... heat is nice but it can get to be too much of a good thing after 4 months of it :)
Thanks for your very nice comments about my history blog - It mean a lot to me!(I thought I had signed up to follow along with you last night but now I see that I didn't. I will do so now!)
God bless and I hope the headaches stay far far away!

May God lead you to the right doctor sister Kat. Knowing your past experiences with some docs, it's understandable you're more cautious. Your gratefulness, despite these trials, is contagious!

Take care sister and God bless. May you be healed in no time.

"Let them give thanks unto Jehovah for his loving-kindness, and for his wondrous works to the children of men"; psalm 107 gives us a good selection of things to thank the Lord for.
