Are You a Real World Parent?

Real World Parents by Mark Matlock helps you be proactive, rather than reactive, while raising Christian kids towards lives of faith in a world filled with contradictions. Rather than trying to raise kids who are “good Christians,” you’ll find the tools to help you live out a faith that allows your children to see what it means to live as a Christian. As a result, your kids will learn about real faith by living it out with you.

In this book, Mark Matlock, will help you explore such issues as:
  • Helping your child make decisions
  • The importance of failure
  • Knowing God’s story for your family
  • Changing the story your family is in.
  • The pursuit of wisdom, and much more.

I found this book to be very insight and a great parenting tool for me. Not only does the book deal with what is happening in our families today, but gives you some great study tools and discussion questions to work with your family on. I would highly recommend this book to anyone looking to see what God’s plans are for you in being “real world parents” today.

I received a complimentary copy of this book to review for B & B Media Group. If you are interested in learning more about the book or where to purchase it, click on the links below.

Thanks for making this bookn known. Sounds like a good one. My kids are 'bout all grown (one still at home), but I still enjoy reading about the process of parenting. Learning stuff I'd wish I'd known 20 years ago!

Over the years I have been given several good Christian parenting books and they have helped so much. A good practical book is worth its weight in gold really, and even more so when it is for something as important as raising your children to be Godly people. I sure couldn't have been as confident as a Mother without the help of those books.

That book sounds very interesting and needed in this day and age.

I have to tell you something. I often wondered why I never got your updates in my dashboard and I just found out why. I thought I was a follower and realized that I had never, this whole time, pushed the follow button. Can you say duh?!
Now I'm happy to say that I am an official follower of my friend Kat!

HUGS to you girlie.
