More Prayer Urgently Needed - Update 7:15pm

Josh is being kept heavily sedated and on heart medicine to stabilize his heart. Both of his parents are concerned because his blood pressure keeps going up and down, and his heartbeat is irregular at this time. The pressure in one of his lungs is twice what it should be and they will be retesting Josh in two days to see if he has any improvement. So over the next few days we really need to have constant prayer and please tell everyone you know to pray for him.

He is truly an amazing young man who has the potential for greatness. He loves the Lord with all his heart and would gladly love to know you are praying for him. I'll keep you updated as we hear anything more. His parents have left the hospital tonight as they are going to keep him as quiet and comfortable as they can for the next few days.

Again standing on the prayer and promise of Jeremiah 29:11 " I know the plans I have for you, Josh, plans to prosper and not harm you, plans to give you a future and a hope."

Please get well Josh, we love and miss you dearly and can't wait for you to come home. Believing it will happen and you will be just fine!

Praying.
A quote for the moment:
"God is thinking of us too in His own heart; and we have a Man sitting at His right hand touched with the feelings of our infirmities, One who takes every sorrow, weakness, and difficulty, as the occasion of ministering grace bringing us into the presence of His faithful love." J N Darby Vol 7 p 25

Oh, Kat, of course I am lifting Joshu in prayers. This is not an easy procedure to go thru ... bless his heart, he'll make it, I just know he will go forth ...

My niece had a 75% scoliosis curce in her spine ... it was a terrible ordeal to go thru but she made it & is doing well now.

God only asks us to endure what He knows we can handle, sweetie.

Please keep us posted.

Hugs & love to you all Kat ~

G'morn, sweet friend ~

This is is 'PS' ~ didn't want to combine the messages ...

This past 2 months has been overwhelming. We both got the crud in Dec & it took 5 weeks to shake it ... doing a lot of catch up now. Then the computer dumped our entire websites & that was a challenge for son & hubby to get it partially back up ... I just haven't been blogging much ... & now the computer decided to delete all my pictures, etc to blog with ... oy!

So we pull out our hair, say a few disgruntled words & move along ... chuckle! Today is another day ... the sun is out ... I see tomorrow on the horizon ...

Hugs, Marydon

I absolute will say a prayer for your nephew and your family. I completely believe in the power of prayer from my own experiences. When Prayers go Up, Blessings come Down.

Father God,

You know the fear and anguish and worry my sweet friend Kat and her nephew Josh and her family is going thru. You know Josh and the sickness and the burden he carries. You also know his heart. Lord, I ask you to be with my friend now, and work in his life. Lord, let your will be done in my friend's life. If there is a sin that needs to be confessed and forgiven, please help him to see his need and confess.

Lord, I pray for my friend because your Word says I should pray for his healing. I believe you hear this earnest prayer from my heart and that it is powerful because of your promise. I have faith in you to heal my friend, but I also trust in the plan you have for his life.

Lord, I don't always understand your ways, but I trust you. I ask that you look with mercy and grace toward my friend. Nourish his spirit and soul in this time of suffering and comfort him with your presence.

Let my friend know you are there with him through this difficulty. And may you be glorified in his life and also in mine.

In Jesus Name,
Amen.

These are two of my favorite prayers. They always comfort me in times of illness:

"And the prayer offered in faith will make the sick person well; the Lord will raise him up. If he has sinned, he will be forgiven. Therefore confess your sins to each other and pray for each other so that you may be healed. The prayer of a righteous man is powerful and effective."
James 5:15-16 (NIV)

“And their prayer offered in faith will heal the sick, and the Lord will make them well. And anyone who has committed sins will be forgiven. Confess your sins to each other and pray for each other so that you may be healed. The earnest prayer of a righteous person has great power and wonderful results.”
James 5:15-16 (NLT)

Stay strong my sweet friend.
You and your sweet family are in God's Hands.
Niecy

Such a rugged challenge for one so young; and for those that love him.

I pray his health is restored soon, and he is free to live out his amazing teen years full of vigor.

Blessings,
Kathleen
