Today, I was in the parking lot and passed an extremely dirty car. The car had a sticker on the window that said "My brother fights for our freedom." Above it, written in the dirt, said "God bless him" with an arrow pointing toward the sticker. Random thankfulness Gives Me Hope!
Today's Tip: Do something nice for our service men or women in uniform today, offer them a cup of coffee, or buy them lunch. Tell them thanks and really mean it.
That is so cool! My daughter has a bumper sticker that says - My brother's in the army. She had someone stop her in a parking lot and tell her to say thanks to him. It made her day!
ReplyDeleteThat is so awesome. It gave me goose bumps. Thanks for sharing.
ReplyDeleteWhat a great idea...thanks!
ReplyDeleteVery nice.
ReplyDeleteAnd random acts would be so easy and make such a great imapact if we would just do them.
ReplyDeleteRandom kindness gives me hope, too. Nice post!
ReplyDeleteOur church gave a donation to the local police dept. a while back. This past weekend the sgt. came and gave us an update on everything they were able to do with that gift. When he entered the building we all stood and applauded him for quite some time. He got quite choked up and said that he wasn't used to getting treatment like that. God bless all our service men and women!
ReplyDeletePerfect post... I take every opportunity to say thank you.
ReplyDeleteLove to you.
Kelly
Awesome bumper sticker and dirt writing. Whatever it takes to get the message across.
ReplyDeleteThank you for sharing this!
ReplyDeleteBlessings,
Amy
Very cool!
ReplyDeleteThe terrible disaster in Haiti is a prime example of what you reminded us of in your post.
