Let's Make It Interesting and Give Something Away!

I thought since I have been blogging since January and so many of us have had super hectic days in the weeks remaining for the summer, I would do something out of the ordinary and unique.

Last week I hosted a caption post to see just how creative people could be and come up with some unique sayings for our four legged doggie friends. We got such a great turn out, that I thought I would make it even better this time around.

I would host a caption contest here with a surprise bag for the winner. I will let the contest run from Friday through Sunday evening and announce the winner on Monday's blog. The winner will be selected by our panel of judges, the Smith family!

In order to participate, you simply need to come up with the most unique and funny caption for the picture I have posted above. You can enter as many times as you want, and you don't need to link up or host this contest on your own blog.

In the case of duplicate captions, the person who enters it first claims it first. I don't think I have left out any more loop holes that I can think of. Have fun, be creative!

So since I want it to get out there as early as possible, I am posting this now for those of you late nighters on the east coast and even further out.

Good luck and Have a Happy Friday!

  3. Gee, I am not very creative. Might have to pull the family in on this one. I love the dolphins, though. The place where we vacation every fall is really populated with them and we get to swim right beside them. It is so amazing.

Please stop by my blog...I want to pass the True Heart Award on to you today.

I hope you are feeling better and looking forward to getting around soon.

  4. Too fun...here is my caption:

(The two dolphins are making fun of the tourists)

"Would you look at the black socks on that tourist! He's kill'n me with the sandals too! When will they learn, black socks and sandals do not work! Hee Hee Hee!"

    Blessings,

  8. I think it looks like they are super excited about what God has just done for them. They are praising God and shouting to the mountaintops the goodness of God, saying, "Hallelujah! God is good!"

  9. This is already my third attempt at a caption... anyways, here goes, Kat:

The two dolphins are playing "Do you remember when?"

Dolphin 1: And do you remember when the fisherman said to us, "Here Dolphie, Dolphie, Dolphie... come over here and let us catch some fresh dolphins for s sashimi!"

Dolphin 2: Oh yeah, and you said to him, "Over my dead body, man!"

    Both Dolphins: Hee-hee-hee-hee-hee!

  13. That's a beautiful pic! I could hear the bigger dolphin telling the smaller one:

"Didn't I warn you not to swim against the tide?"

You always come up with fun stuff. Have a great weekend sister Kat! Blessings.

  15. Hi Kat,
Am back with an answer to your question. We have an "only female and children" car in our trains here because the other cars can be so overcrowded with men. And since modesty is still very much a part of our culture, it is not good for the women to be in there with the men. During morning and evening rush hours the trains are literally jampacked. a woman can be really pinned between two men!

There is also a family rule, men travelling with children are allowed in the female section of the trains.

Praying you are better this weekend.

    Love

  18. One dolphin asks the other
"Do I have a piece of spinach stuck in my teeth?"

No wait, make that: "Do I have a piece of tuna stuck in my teeth?"

    :o)

  20. Okay I am thinking that dolphin 1 in the back is Alice and Dolphin 2 in the front is Maureen.

"Alice says to Maureen, Hey did you see how white my teeth are now!"

Maureen says "Wow I can't believe it, just last week you were complaining of how dull they looked!"

Alice says "I know, but I found this new product, Crestacian Whitening strips, just put them on at night and those little buggers will clean your teeth spotless while you sleep!"

Maureen says "Okay I have to go find me some!"

    Alice says, "Just look down!"
