Quest for Post Cards

Collectors! We all have or still do have things we love to collect. Some collect thimbles or shot glasses, yet other collect vintage things like my brother Mike. He is an avid fan of anything relating to 1940's World War 1 and 2. If you have anything you're interested in selling, send me an email and I'll put you in touch with him.

On another note, my youngest is a collector of post cards. As my hubby, Steve has traveled for work, if he has time, he will stop and pick a couple up in the airports as he passes through. Yet, I see I have so many bloggers from all over the US and even lucky enough to have some outside our beautiful country.

Here is my favor to all of you. If you are interested in helping her complete her collection, would you email me and I'll send you our mailing address so you can send her a post card! I can only imagine the surprised look on her face to have the mailbox filled with post cards from all over the world.

It would be great to have any kind of post card but ones that really showcase your city, or your state or country can help her with studies of places around the globe. We'd even be interested in sending you one back from our desert community barring all creepy and crawly critters.

Here's hoping you can make a little happiness in the life of a child. I will keep Kailee's progress of just where she is getting them from on my side bar to the right. Thanks in advance for all your help!

My husband and I are heading to, in the next 6-8 months, South Africa, Ethiopia, Boston, Orlando, Cleveland, Hong Kong and possibly Sri Lanka. Hopefully that will add to her collection!!!

Kat, I passed on to you a BEAUTIFUL Blog award today over on my blog. You were one of the first blog buddies I had when I started blogging in August of last year and you have continued to be an encouragement to me. Thank you! Make sure when you check it out to scroll down on my post since I posted about more than one award.

  18. I live in Oklahoma, which isn't exotic or tropical or anything, but it's been my home always. I will send her a postcard from here. My husband, however, travels some. He's leaving for China next week. I will have him try to find one there and mail it to her. I don't have your email address though and the link isn't working for me, mine is allforkids@cox.net
We are actually heading to California in July for vacation, I've never been there. A postcard back for my youngest, 10 year old twin boys, would be neat if you think about it. Love, Angel

  26. Blessings Kat... I wish I had clicked on this way back when... I travel back and forth from MN to Mexico frequently, usually once a year.

I have a bag of postcards from where I am currently in Mexico. I'd love to pick out a few different ones to send and so if you're still collecting, click on my comment and it should give you my email (I think)! When I travel again, I will always think of this now and pick up more to send that she does not yet have... states or places here.

    What a great idea!!!

  27. Kat,
If you'll send me your address, I'd love to send your sweet Kailee a postcard. It might take me a little bit to get it out to her, as I am not quite out and about yet, but as soon as I find a fun Missouri postcard, I'd love to send her one.

    Love you friend,
    Dawn
