Saturday Morning Cartoons?

Don't you remember waking up on Saturday morning to the Bugs Bunny Road Runner hour? It was the highlight for me growing up as a kid, as I would wait for Saturday Morning, watch Bugs Bunny and then be gone for the rest of the day. In lieu of the fact these are pretty much long gone, I thought each Saturday I would share my favorite episodes with you. So while we may not have them the memories that each holds is priceless and classic! This episode is my all time favorite Bugs Bunny cartoon! Enjoy and Have a Happy Saturday!

  5. We have bought our kids the DVD's because the cartoons today are just not the same. I had to LOL when Bugs was pretending to be the king and crowing him Sir Loin of Beef. LOL Too funny!

  13. Love Bugs. He always bested everyone from hitler to the martian. Except for that slow poke turtle. That turtle guy frustrated me as well.

  14. Haven't watched cartoons in years. But when my kids were little I noticed that cartoons had changed from when I was a kid. Instead of cute characters there were a lot of weird ones. Hollywood starts getting to our kids while they are still just youngins!

  16. When I was pregnant with our oldest son, we decided to do his nursery in a Looney Tunes theme. We were slightly ahead of the times and had a hard time finding things to decorate with. Someone gave us 4 Looney Tune soap dishes that we were able to hang on a wall, and we found two framed pictures. We also got some stuffed characters. Someone did find a baby quilt and sheets for us. The Looney Tunes wallpaper and border came out when he was a year old.

My younger son and I love to watch Tom & Jerry together. It's our "thing"! Even though he's 12 now, if he sees it on TV, he asks me to sit with him and watch it. I had to get 2 new gerbils for my classroom this year, and we named them Tom & Jerry!

    Love and Hugs, Leslie

  18. My brother would get up early every Saturday morning to watch cartoons. I would sleep in as much as possible, but invariably wake up to the soundtrack of his laughter. What a great way to start the weekend.
