We were talking the other day about how many people have no idea what the holiday is about. My mother in law has grown peonies for 50 years to take to the cemetery on Memorial Day. This year because of the unusually warm spring they bloomed and were down weeks ahead of time. It was sad to think there were no peonies.

Awesome picture and awesome analogy. My study this morning was on the scripture about checking out your own beam before judging others. I always love how the Lord ties together different parts of our day and lives with a common theme.

I Googled "Off The Beaten Trek" to read rcubes moments ago. I paid no attention and just clicked,
It led me here!

I read extensively online (and comment just as much) and NO ONE deserves these accolades as much as Rosel.

I was astonished at a catholic background (me too), and the similarities in growing up, though my mom had 12 kids Rosel! Playing games in a neighborhood of at least 70 kids was an evening social call.
We DID things together as children.

Now, if rcubes thinks this blog is worthy of her comment daily, then I must Bookmark this spot too.

Our Correctional Nurse is always too modest to accept praise, though the Lord thinks she should have more and often, I am deeply sure!

Thank you for taking up the call, and exposing to the world what wonderful people are really like in person.

I too have longed for that day where I can pick up the book I started years ago to finish it. Only have 25 chapters but after my husband left I never wrote another chapter. I keep thinking I will someday but like you I keep putting it off.
Glad you have made up your mind and going to be writing.
